I believe it's time to take back control of our national energy policy.
At a time when the oil and gas industries are recording record profits, a simple, common sense place to begin is to take back the $2.6 billion of tax breaks given to them in last year's energy bill. Oil company executives have already testified that they don't need these incentives.
I support Senator Biden's bill to repeal tax breaks for oil and gas companies that don't need them.
